12 Days Nairobi, Meru, Samburu, Solio, Nakuru, Mara, Naivasha, Nairobi
Schedule
Day 1 (2 nights stay)
Drive up north round eastern side of Mt Kenya. Enjoy the beautiful agriculturally rich countryside full bananas, tea and coffee farmlands. Arrive at the camp for late lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive in the expansive Meru National Park. Optional activities include bush walk. Dinner and overnight at Ikweta camp.
Day 2
Full day game drive in the park including Rhino Sanctuary.
Day 3 (2 nights stay)
After breakfast depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive for lunch. In the afternoon proceed for evening game drive in search for lions, elephants as you explore the banks of Uaso Nyiro river. Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge or equivalent.
Day 4: Aberdare to Mount Kenya National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives.
Day 5 (1 night stay)
Early morning departure for Solio Rhino Sanctuary. Great viewing of both black and white rhinos. Arrive for late lunch at Aberdare Country club. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 (1 night stay)
Depart for Lake Naivasha and arrive for lunch. Afternoon boat ride in this freshwater lake. Dinner and overnight at a Lodge or equivalent.
Day 7 (1 night stay)
Morning guided hiking and cycling at Hells gate National Park. Depart for Maasai Mara arriving for late lunch. Optional evening visit of Maasai Cultural village. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Mara AA Lodge or equivalent.
Day 8/9/10 (3 nights stay)
Three days exploration of the great Maasai Mara game Reserve of the African savannah. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, crocodiles etc. for your indulgent.
Day 11
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi.
