The Communities include over 15 different tribes including the Samburu also called butterfly people, Rendille, Turkana, Borana, Pokot, Turgen, Njemps, Gabra, Dassunach, Buji, Sakunde and the Elmolo which is the smallest tribe in Kenya.
The landscape within these communities is amazing, the hills, mountains, the desert and crown of all is one of the largest desert lake in the world, Lake Turkana stretching for 300km towards Ethiopian border. The lake has over 40 species of fish and many crocodiles. The cradle of mankind is also found within Turkana
