12 Days wildlife tour: Nairobi, Samburu, Solio, Nakuru, Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli, Nairobi
Schedule
Day 1/2 (2 night stay in Samburu)
Depart Nairobi in the morning. Head to Samburu Game Reserve for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at Samburu Sopa or equivalent.
Day 2
Morning and afternoon Game drives Samburu.
Day 3 (1 night stay)
Depart for Solio Rhino Conservancy or Olpejeta Rhino conservancy for view of these endangered wildlife species. Lunch and overnight at Aberdares Country club or equivalent.
Day 4 (1 night stay)
Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, visit Thomson’s Falls, Great Rift Valley and arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or equivalent.
Day 5 (3 nights stay)
After breakfast, enjoy a morning drive before proceeding to Maasai Mara Game Reserve to arrive for late lunch. Afternoon optional activities to include visits to Maasai Village, nature walk with Maasai warriors.
Day 6/7
Full day game drive. Enjoys wildlife viewing of major predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs and a host of big herbivore population. Lunch boxes in the wild. Afternoon head towards your camp or lodge for overnight. Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge or equivalent.
Day 8 (1 night stay)
After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha for lunch. Afternoon optional guided cycling and hiking through Hells gate National Park or boat ride in Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge or equivalent.
Day 9 (2 nights stay)
Spend the morning on a game drive in Solio Game Reserve, looking for rhino sightings. Enjoy the breathtaking vistas and take great images. Afterwards, drive to Mount Longonot National Park (around 3-4 hours). Check into assigned resort or camp.
Overnight stay at Kedong Ranch House
Day 9: Full day hike at Mount Longonot National Park
Begin your day with a hike to the summit of Mount Longonot. Explore the unique volcanic environment and take in the panoramic views from the crater rim. Descend and return to the lodge. Relax and ponder on your adventure across Central Kenya.
Overnight stay at Kedong Ranch House
Day 10
Full day game drive to enjoy the great moments with Amboseli elephants with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.
Day 10
Drive back to Nairobi for your flight back home
